TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Modulus ("we", "us", the "Bot") governing your use of the Modulus Discord application, the modulusbot.com website and the Modulus public API (together, the "Service").

By adding Modulus to a Discord server, running any command, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service and remove the Bot from your server.

If you add Modulus to a server you administer, you accept these Terms on behalf of that server and are responsible for ensuring its members are aware of them.

Modulus is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not created, endorsed, sponsored, affiliated with or in any way officially connected to Discord Inc., Roblox Corporation, Rolimons, Bloxlink, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Your use of the Service is additionally governed by the terms of the platforms it runs on. Where those terms conflict with these Terms, theirs prevail on their platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for consenting to online services. This mirrors Discord's own minimum age requirement.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You must also hold a Discord account in good standing and not be subject to any suspension or ban from Discord or Roblox.

Modulus retrieves publicly available information from Roblox and third-party data providers and presents it inside Discord. The Bot operates through slash commands and does not read your message content.

The following commands are currently available. We may add, change or remove commands at any time.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• ▸Use the Service to harass, stalk, threaten, dox, impersonate or intimidate any person — including using /locate to track someone who has not consented to it.
• ▸Attempt to access any Roblox or Discord account you do not own, or to obtain private information that a user has chosen not to make public.
• ▸Circumvent, disable or interfere with rate limits, authentication, caching or any other technical measure protecting the Service.
• ▸Scrape, bulk-harvest, resell, sublicense or redistribute data obtained through the Service, or build a competing product from it.
• ▸Use automated means to invoke commands at a volume that degrades the Service for others.
• ▸Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or credentials of the Service.
• ▸Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, sanctions programme or third-party right, or to facilitate fraud including Robux scams.
• ▸Misrepresent the Service as your own, or as an official Discord or Roblox product.

The Service is provided free of charge, on a best-effort basis, with no uptime guarantee. We may impose rate limits, throttle usage, or restrict access to expensive operations such as inventory scans and player location searches in order to keep the Service usable for everyone.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service — including individual commands or the API — at any time and without notice or liability. Uptime figures shown on this website are indicative only and are not a service-level commitment.

All information returned by the Service originates from Roblox and third-party providers such as Rolimons. We do not create, verify or guarantee it. Data may be delayed, cached, incomplete, out of date or wrong.

Market information — including RAP, item values, demand ratings, price history and trade ads — is provided for general information only. It is not financial, investment, trading or professional advice of any kind.

Our handling of personal data is described in full in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: we process publicly available Roblox information and the Discord identifiers needed to answer your command, we cache results for limited periods, we do not read your messages, and we do not sell your data.

You are responsible for the information you submit through commands. Do not enter passwords, tokens, personal contact details or any other sensitive information as a command argument.

The Modulus name, branding, website, source code and command design are owned by the operator and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission.

All Roblox content, including usernames, avatars, item names, thumbnails and game data, remains the property of Roblox Corporation and its users. Discord branding and platform elements remain the property of Discord Inc. Modulus claims no ownership over either.

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal and community purposes in accordance with these Terms.

The Service depends on external providers including Discord, Roblox, Rolimons and Bloxlink. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content or practices. An outage or change at any of them may degrade or interrupt Modulus without notice.

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any consumer rights you have that cannot be waived by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, nor for any loss of Robux, virtual items, data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is zero, or (b) USD $50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Modulus and anyone involved in its development from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We may restrict, suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service — or that of an entire Discord server — at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these Terms or the rules of Discord or Roblox have been breached, or to protect the Service or its users.

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the Bot from your server. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Where changes are material, we will announce them in the support server before they take effect wherever reasonably practicable.

Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the updated Terms, stop using the Service and remove the Bot.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the applicable federal laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

You and we agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us through the support server and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least 30 days. Most issues are settled quickly this way.

You and we agree that any dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective or representative proceeding.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior understanding.
